1. Licence

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use this app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

This licence does not include the right to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
  • Distribute, sell, or sublicence the app
  • Use the app for commercial purposes
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

2. Experimental Services

All cloud-based services, including but not limited to:

  • Leaderboards and score tracking
  • Online synchronisation
  • Multiplayer features
  • Push notifications

Are provided on an EXPERIMENTAL BASIS with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or continuity. These services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Changes to Functionality

The developer and provider of Sudoku World Tournament reserves the full right to, at any time and without prior notice:

  • Add, modify, update, or remove any features in the app
  • Modify, limit, or discontinue any cloud-based services
  • Change the terms of use for the service
  • Update pricing or introduce new pricing models
  • Modify the user interface and experience

By continuing to use the app after such changes, you accept the modified terms.

4. No Warranty

The app and associated services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

The developer specifically disclaims:

  • Any warranty of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of any information

The developer is not liable for:

  • Loss of data, scores, or progress
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

5. Termination

This licence terminates automatically if you breach any of these terms.

Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of the app
  • You must delete all copies of the app
  • Your access to cloud services will be revoked
  • Your data may be deleted

The developer may also terminate your access at any time for any reason.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.

8. Apple Standard Licence Agreement

This app is licensed to you under the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA).

The Apple EULA is available at:

These additional terms supplement the Apple EULA. In case of conflict between these terms and the Apple EULA regarding the specific topics covered herein (experimental services, changes to functionality, no warranty), these terms shall prevail.

For all other matters not explicitly addressed in these terms, the Apple Standard EULA applies.
